Today was first day in Ward 63 . It was a little gloomy and eerie in first look . The ward is also not an MRSA FREE ward . We had orientation as usual and then assigned to different cubicles . Chew Sian , Maznah , Farah & I were assigned to the front, not so bad though . Much busier than the back . Four of us to take care of the two woman cubicles at the front . I admit I was quite blur at first . There were alot of differences in surgical & medical . In surgical ward we have and its a must to take temperature and all the vital signs hourly or 4 hourly . But in medical ward , if the patient is not having pyrexia , no need to take . Only take twice . In Ward 63 , its a cardio ward . Patients are mostly on fall risk tag . Majority needs assistance to go to the toilet or even just using portable loos . My cubicle especially , most are on strict I/O charts . There were like two new admissions before I left home . First days are always blurry and much uncertainty . Just hope things go smoothly in that ward . I got my logbook back . Will need to plan what skills to complete by this week , compulsory is vital signs to let Mdm Quek sign .

I'm waiting for my room make over . Quickkie pls .
